Start by filling out our custom request form. We will then arrange to communicate directly with you either over email or at our Los Angeles Design Center to finalize the details. Once that is done, we create a sketch for you to review. Once you have approved the sketch, then we get to work casting and setting your piece!

Yes! You get a free ring sizer after you approve the quote we give you.
- Insert the tail into the loop to form a circle.
- Put the ring sizer on the finger you want your ring to go on, placing it on the knuckle above where it will sit.
- Tighten the sizer until it’s very snug, but not uncomfortable.
- Push the ring sizer all the way on, and see how it feels.
- Email us a picture of the ring sizer on your finger, being sure to show the number the arrow points to. This is your ring size!

- Place a ring you already have on the desired finger.
- Place the ring sizer above or below the ring, depending on where you want your new ring to go. Follow the instructions outlined in our blog.
- Adjust as needed, and you will have the size that your second ring will be!
Get a friend or family member involved to sneakily help figure it out! Or if the recipient already has a ring on the finger in question, take that to a local jeweler and get the size from them. I can help too! Send me a picture that shows her hand, and I can give you a good guess.
And don’t worry! As long as the ring is not full eternity (with stones going all the away around the band), it can be easily resized later. You can also use one of our placeholder gifts to give them while you wait to find out the ring size!
Yes. However, be aware that some rings are harder to resize, and may involve more cost. These are full eternity rings, rings with designs or engravings going all the way around, and rings with certain colored gemstones. We will help you.

- If you have shorter fingers, this does not affect your ring size, but it does limit the number of rings and the width of the rings you may want to wear.
- Knuckle size may impact your ring size if your knuckle is much larger than where the ring sits, causing the ring to flop around on your finger. Many in this situation find sizing beads to be a good solution. Read more about them here.
Sizing beads are beads of metal placed on the inside of the band that allow a larger ring to fit on a smaller finger, without having to cut into the metal of the band. They are used to…
- Resize rings with intricate designs in the metal to prevent disfiguring the design, and to reduce the costs of resizing full eternity rings.
- Help rings fit over a larger knuckle and then sit snugly on the finger.
- Stabilize rings with very large center stones.

Once ordered, our pieces take 1-2 weeks on average to be completed. Because each piece of jewelry is handmade, that time may vary depending on how many pieces we’re working on, as well as the time of year.

Yes. The package comes from “LKD,” with no logos or any other indication that it is coming from a jewelry company. Your secret is safe with us!

All of our orders are double-boxed and tightly sealed to ensure that no one handling the package knows that there is a valuable object inside, and so that it cannot be easily broken into.

Yes. UPS requires a signature on all orders over $350.00 USD.
You can have the package shipped to a friend or relative, or a place of business. Please include their full name or the business name in your shipping information at checkout, and put their address there instead of your own.
You may also request to have your package held at an approved UPS location so that you can pick it up at your convenience.

- Orders over $350.00 USD will be shipped fully insured via UPS International.

For items bought as-is, you have five business days from the date the package arrives and is signed for to return it for a full refund or exchange, no questions asked! If you need more than five days, please contact us for prior approval. We will always do our best to work with you!
